This introductory 14-hour course will equip candidates with the background knowledge required before embarking on the Level I program. We strongly recommend that candidates with non-finance or accounting related background attend this course.

Each candidate will receive a full set of notes specially prepared for this course. Candidates are strongly advised to bring a Texas Instrument BAII Plus Calculator or a HP12C Platinum Financial Calculator for this course.

For many candidates, this is the first time they are taking their CFA exams. Many of the subject materials at each level is new, or was previously studied many years ago. Much of the materials require dedicated study to master the Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK^TM).

Conducted over 84 hours, FSA's Preparatory courses are designed to guide candidates through the most important and difficult topics, thereby significantly increasing the effectiveness of dedicated study time.

Intensive revision course is conducted over four seven-hour session one month before the June and December examinations.

Designed to prepare candidates for the actual examinations, each subject is summarized and then followed by past examination questions practice. The focus is on how to translate subject knowledge into a pass. Both technical understanding and techniques on tackling the examinations are emphasized.

Our modular courses are conducted throughout the Preparatory Course and are suitable for candidates who wish to focus on certain subject areas in the CFA curriculum. These modular courses are also suitable for candidates who had previously attempted the CFA examination unsuccessfully and wish to reinforce certain subject areas of the Candidate Body of Knowledge^TM.
